The Path to Buddhism · Last updated July 22, 2026

The Path to Buddhism is made by James Munton. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it collects nothing.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app does not ask you to create an account, and it does not gather your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information.

Your progress stays on your device

As you move along the path, the app remembers where you are and which lessons and meditations you have finished. This is saved only on your iPhone. It is never sent to me or to anyone else, and I have no way to see it. If you delete the app, that information is removed with it.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking

The app includes no analytics tools, no advertising, and no third-party tracking software. It works fully offline.

Links that leave the app

The app has two optional links that open outside of it in Safari: a support link to my Ko-fi page, and a link to rate the app on the App Store. If you tap either one, you leave the app and land on that service, which has its own privacy policy. The app shares no information with those services beyond the fact that you opened the page.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
